Polo's Emergency Preparedness Fair

Today is the day Polo has been planning for awile. He is the Stake Preparedness Coordinator and there was an emregency preparedness fair at the Stake Center. They had about 17 tables set up with various forms of preparedness materials. There were about 200 people who attended the fair.

As you can see by the photos the kids had great fun! Wonder what they were preparing for? FUN -- that is what I think!

The Piano Man

Tan-Man the Piano Man - he looks so handsome with his new suit and winning smile!

We were all very excited the end of 2007 when Tanner decided he would like to take piano lessons. He was excited until he realized he would have to practice so much! And practice he did -- almost daily. He quickly realized how practice helps!

On April 9, 2008 the fruits of his labor were delivered at his first piano recital. He walked up to the piano (without his music), sat down, and played his two pieces flawlessly! We all sat out in the audience and beamed.

Nathan VanBuskirk, Carson Whitlock and Tanner
